Barefoot in the Park by Neil Simon
04/05/19 - 11/05/19
A great romantic comedy by the Master of Rom Coms: NEIL SIMON!
Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. After a six day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit from Corie's loopy mother and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner with their neighbour-in-the-attic, Velasco, and everything that can go wrong, does. A delightful comedy which captures the joys and frustrations of young love!
Marvin Neil Simon, the cherished American playwright, screenwriter and author, died in August 2018. He wrote more than 30 plays and nearly the same number of movie screenplays, including The Odd Couple, Come Blow Your Horn, Biloxi Blues and, most fondly remembered, Barefoot in the Park. Neil Simon received more combined Oscar and Tony nominations than any other writer. Chester Little Theatre would like to dedicate this play to his memory.
Barefoot in the Park is replacing Why Me? in our schdule.
