CASTING:

The cast features the usual suspects:

Rene: The beleaguered café owner

Edith: His long-suffering wife

Yvette: His glamorous bit on the side

Mimi: His other (shorter) bit on the side.

Fanny: His annoying bedridden mother-in-law

2 British Airman (who have a larger part in this production) - The thorns in Renes

Leclerc: The master of disguise (or not as the case may be)

Monsieur Alphonse: Ardent admirer of Edith and the local undertaker.

Michelle: Still only saying things once.

Crabtree: Still saying things badly.

Colonel: Still sporting a wiglet

Capt. Geering: His dim-witted sidekick

Helga: The ever-passionate lover of Herr Flick

Herr Flick: the cold and dispassionate Gestapo officer

Lieutenant Gruber: Still pining to take Rene for a spin in his little tank.

General Von Klinkerhoffen: Freshly back from the Russian Front and demanding…

everything!
