CASTING:

HEPHEASTUS - Male - Playing age 30s/40s - the eldest child and god of the forge, has a mobility issue with one of his legs. His attempt to intervene and stop his father from hurting his mother left him disabled and ostracised from his family. 

ARIES - Male - Playing age 30s/40s - the second child and god of war, physically intimidating if not from his build then from his bearing. His attempt to establish himself as an intimidating force enough to keep his father in place has left him a figure of fear and scorn amongst his peers.

HEBE - Female - Playing age 20s - the youngest child and the goddess of youth. Her sheltered childhood has meant she grew up unaware of the people her parents once were.

DIONYSUS - Male - Playing age 20s/30s - the half-brother and god of wine, starting to get haggard after a life of partying without break. The product of an affair, the fallout of which resulted in the death of his mother, his powerlessness over the situation led to his hiding in alcohol.

HESTIA - Female - Playing age 50s/60s - the aunt and goddess of hearth and home, kind and caring. One of the few sources of kindness in the children's lives, her unwillingness to get involved has festered into a guilt that has come to define her.


We will also be looking for 3 actors to act as a chorus and help narrate the story.
