Award winning drama comes to Chester Little Theatre!
Theatre company White Cobra is bringing its latest production to Chester Little Theatre, fresh from scooping four awards at a recent drama festival.
The Father, by Florian Zeller and translated by Christopher Hampton, was being performed at the week-long Easter Festival of plays at the historic Gaiety Theatre on the Isle of Man.
It was named Best Play, and Best Drama with awards to Director Martin Borley-Cox and Actor Ian Spiby, who plays the title role, Andre.
Director Martin Borley-Cox says "It's a great honour to have been chosen as the Best Play, and a tribute to the wonderful writing which tackles the difficult subject of Alzheimer's disease with sympathy and humour."
The Father will be performed at Chester Little Theatre for one night only on Saturday 18 May. Tickets are now on sale at www.chesterlittletheatre.co.uk
